Legal checks before signing at a trade fair
- Confirm the supplier's Chinese legal name, business licence and unified social credit code.
- Make sure the bank account belongs to the same legal entity that signs the contract.
- Write product specifications, inspection rights, delivery terms and refund remedies into the contract.
- Do not rely on a booth conversation or pro forma invoice as the full legal agreement.
- For product ideas, samples and designs, use a China-law NNN agreement before disclosure.
